Phew. I’ve finally had a chance to get back to some blogging since the Christmas rush. I really hope you had a lovely festive break and spent time with those that are important to you.
I spent Christmas Day prepping for the family to come round and ate copious amounts of chocolate. Standard. But it was really great to have my nearest and dearest close to me over the holidays. That’s what it’s all about for me.
In the run up to Christmas, I attended my first ever MK Blogger event at Revolucion de Cuba in Milton Keynes. I met an awesome bunch of people and fellow bloggers and bonded over my first taste of tapas and a few cocktails.

If you have a Revolucion de Cuba near you or if you’re close to Milton Keynes I highly recommend going; they do 2 for the price of 1 happy hour cocktails on Sunday. You can thank me later 🙂
I had a bloom gin cocktail, but really wish I had sampled more of the menu so I’ll need to go back.
Luckily I received some free drinks vouchers so that’s as good an excuse as any to head back.
Along with the vouchers, the MKBloggers girls were lovely enough to organise a goody bag for attendees.

Thank you so much for this guys and for all of the brands providing gifts like a cute hat from Mitchell and Ness, some popcorn from Propercorn, two free Zumba classes from Fitness Milton Keynes, a pale ale from MK Biergarten, a free Flotation Life voucher, money off a pizza from Stu’s Oven, some handmade garlic and mustard ale chutney from Mr and Mrs Fitz Fab Food and my all time favourite hand cream from my favourite cruelty-free company, Lush.
I’m really looking forward to the next event and hope to catch up with you all again soon.
Happy New Year.
