Felt like I was in Miami Vice.

Walking down the street of a notably posh postcode in London, I must have seen the cleanest sheets drying in the chilling winter breeze.

How apt, I thought. Their laundry is as pristine as their street.

Have you ever witnessed a couple arguing when it was totally unavoidable? Say it was in public, whilst you were with friends or even with family members? It’s possibly one of the most awkward situations I’ve found myself in because you inadvertently hear very personal details which draw you into their relationship.

But for me, there’s something quite saddening by the more muted gestures of arguments. Such as engagement rings in pawn shops, bins suddenly overflowing with an array of once teasured posessions and I’ve even seen photographs with people cut out of them.

When I was walking home, I saw a pile of flowers strewn across the pavement. I immediately imagied it was as a result of an argument.

The flowers were still in bloom so it seemed they must have been rejected due an emotional response and not due to their longevity.

Anyway, I felt sorry for them, so I scavenged a few and took them home. At least they had somewhat of a reprieve.

I hope I don’t see something like this for a while. 

Wow, this totally passed me by.

Demolition of the historic Town Hall in Bedford began at the beginning of January. An area at the back is still standing and looks like it’s fallen victim to an arson attack.

Some of the windows have been blown out.

I find that buildings made up almost entirely of windows seem unashamedly bureaucratic, as if they’re trying to maintain an element of transparency for the services they provide for the townspoeple.

When I noticed the burnt out windows around 40ft from the ground it was disruptive and unnerving. Not only because I’m used to seeing this building fully functioning, but the familiar structure now appears so unstable, at odds with the infallible image council buildings prefer to project.

Apparently Bedford will have a brand new 12 screen cinema right in the centre of town. I guess Cineworld on the outskirts of the town will be next on the chopping block…?

I didn’t weep at the sight of this.

This pretty little rainbow was a welcome break from all of the rain we’ve been having. So pretty I doubled it.

I achieved this by duplicating the background layer in Photoshop.

I hit CTRL + T to select the copied layer. I then right-clicked and selected flip horizontally.

I then decreased the copied layers opacity to 75% so that the original layer would shine through:
